Saturday, May 9 – Walk for PKU

I want to personally invite you to join me, my family, and our friends, Heather and Kris Bomar, this Saturday, May 9 at 9am for the 3rd Annual Walk for PKU.  My dear friend Heather has a daughter, Ellis (2), who has a genetic disorder called PKU, which restricts the foods she is able to eat and will be something she will deal with her entire life.  This walk will be a great opportunity to raise awareness and funds for PKU research.

Registration fees are $5 per person and will include inflatables, sno-cones, games, crafts, face painting, cotton candy, door prizes, and participation in the walk at Crockett Park.  Bring a lunch for your family and enjoy a picnic after the walk.  Get some friends together and come support one of our Moms Together moms and her family.  Donations are welcome, but not expected.

Meet at the pavillion at Holy Family Catholic Church (by Crockett Park) for registration at 9:00 and the walk will begin at 10:00.

Please RSVP by emailing nashvillewalk@tennesseepku.org or by calling 615-653-4386.
