Car Seat Safety Changes from Toddlers to Teenagers

Important new child safety seat guidelines were announced yesterday by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Highway Safety Administration.


1. Toddlers should remain REAR FACING until the age of 2

2. Children should remain in a car booster seat until they are AT LEAST 4’9″ no matter their age.

3. Children should NOT sit in the front seat of a car until they are at least 13 years old.
